If you have a Digicel Phone chip in Jamaica, you can put 700 International Minutes of time (expires in 30 days) on your phone/chip for $1250 Jamaican Dollars. That way, someone can just call you from Jamaica for less than 2 cents US per minute.

I am not a talker so I find that I have to chatty mout a whole lot to use up the time!

I don't buy it every month but every couple of months. For me and my situation, it is a perfect solution.

I'm talking with Linston every day now and having him call me on the International plan is the best deal.

Of course sometimes I have to call him and tell him to call me!

I have a few people I talk with quite regularly and even some business scenario's where I have someones digicel number and know them to offer my way of doing things. I online top up the digicel of who i want to talk to and when they get the text message that I added minutes which happens within 60 seconds or so they call me. This literally costs me pennies per minute that way. I otherwise use walgreens international calling cards at .22 when calling government offices or new people that don't know me or I skype those I can message online or facetime with those with Iphones.
