How to hire a cellphone these days

How/where can you hire a cellphone these days if you do not have a tour driver and they have stopped hiring at the airport? Do you just buy one? Everyone seems to bring their own from home , mine never works needs something technical doing to it.I am going to need a phone

That is a big plus! We have a standing ride from the airport for years...but, what does your son charge for 2 from airport to Negril?

Tic dear, just buy the phone. I got mine for $12us and the SIM card was $3us. You get your own number to keep and you can keep it activated from abroad. $15 for a fully functional phone, that came with 200J worth of minutes on the SIM....fooking great dealio! Try either the upstairs LIME store left of valuemaster or the shop directly beneath it.

    Yeah, what Robster said.

for 50 US, I got a new Phone - Sim - Minutes. I went to the Digicel in MoBay, no line.

The Phone has an FM radio on it too, so you can listen to local radio ont he provided headphones.

I do have a question though. How often do I need to top up to keep my sim and # active?
