Couple years ago we paid only £800 for flights and 2 weeks all inclusive . My daughter got return flight only at same time for £330 ! Just shows how ridiculous flight prices have become

That is hardly a bargain deal those ba and virgin slashed prices are still double that of the smaller airlines who still get you from a-b with not much difference between the two.
over the past ten years or so the average I pay is £400 per person flight only,I have had it lower than that and once or twice slightly more expensive than that. This year I will fly with virgin and I am paying about 7-800 pounds flight only per person. This is only because I want to stay longer than the typical 2-3 weeks. The flights that I booked are now being charged at £1800 per person flight only that is around $2300 us per person flight only-to me that is sky high not slashed! They seriously do need to slash their flight prices though before the new flight routes take over which are due to start this year aren't they?

It was Septmeber when we went 2 years ago and paid only £800 for return flight and 2 weeks all inclusive from Manchester. Schools start back on Sept 5th so that shouldn't be a factor ...its usually end July and August when the prices are hiked up.

thats so true ....one year due to my daughter exams we traveled at Easter break , we usually pay around £1000 each for flights and 2 weeks all inclusive but at Easter we paid almost £1500 each, almost double per person the price we aid to go in Sept the following year.

I got a return ticket to JA in March earlier this year from London for about £350, going back in September and paid £620, but I'm sure I couldve got it cheaper if it wasnt for the fact that I had fixed dates (and I wanted to treat myself and fly with Virgin as I never have before)

£700-£800 is more of a rip off than a 'decent' price IMO
