Good Call! Israelites is a great song. This is the first I heard of the Mr. Vegas version. Pretty cool!

There are a lot of these "spin-offs" in Reggae music. The melody for "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng" by Yellowman was ripped-off/sampled dozens of times, an was itself taken from a song originally released in the '60s.
