Can anyone tell me if Maureen currently works at the BarBBarn? I heard rumors but was hoping to confirm. Thanks all!

Few years now: She left BBB, went to Rondel, had twins from the cook! and now haven't seen her around, maybe Rondel regulars can tell more!

If memory serves me correctly, she was at Samsara after she left BarBBarn but that was some time ago so not sure that she's still there.

I met her at Samsara on my first trip to Negril in '05. Oh how sweetly she would sing my name each morning when I came down... I spent most of my vacation sitting at the bar while her and Sharona (if I remember correctly) and others would prepare for each meal and serve the occasional drinker. I wouldn't dare try to speak Patois, but by the second or third day, I was catching on. She caught me when I couldn't help but laugh at a joke she told someone else, not realizing that I was listening and learning. It was a bonding moment for us and after that we talked a lot more. She was there every visit I made and then a couple year absence on my part. Back to Samsara in 2012, just to hear her sweet voice and what?! No Maureen. I still long to hear her sing my name. My trips aren't the same without her smile, her laugh, and her singing. Marko - yes, she's quite tall. Lulu - wouldn't that be something! Hope some Rondel regs will know something. Justchuck - hadn't heard she had gone back. Samsara will have my business again if she's there. She and that busted up old pool table made my vacation! LOL

I should also add that Maureen is one of my fav servers of all-time. She has the kind of fun spirit that makes us folks come back Negril .....
