There is a fund raising gala being held at the Grand Palladium on June 22nd - the project is moving forward. The previous post with misleading and incorrect information was removed. Here is some direct information from the Negril International Hospital website:

Folks, do you have ANY idea how long a project like this will take in JA? If it would take 3 years in the US.....think 3 or 4 times that long in JA. Its not bad, its just the way things are here....FFS...and, the person on point for this project is a very good man....
