At one point we were surrounded by millions of fish, pretty cool until I started thinking about what would eat those....

We had a relaxing afternoon when we returned, got some jerk chicken from Best in the West (sorry no pics), enjoyed the afternoon on the beach.

We ended Friday with a walk down the beach during sunset, then dinner at Kuyaba. I didn’t get any good pictures at Kuyaba, but it was the best meal of our trip (sorry Ivans). The pepper shrimp are something I am still dreaming about and were huge!

Our flight on Saturday did not leave until in the afternoon so we had some time in the morning. We went over to Coco LaPalm for breakfast, just to get some of their wonderful banana bread, then spent some time on the beach, we dragged ourselves in to shower, got ready to go, and sadly packed away everything for the return trip.

I don't have any mystical, magical words of wisdom to end this with, it was a great week for us and we enjoyed every minute. Well, except maybe for that hangover the DH had Thursday morning, those moments were not ideal.

We rarely get one week together, let alone two, but this is our lucky year. We get to return in December. We're already booked right before the busy season and looking forward to enjoying a week at Coco LaPalm. We would have stayed at IA, but they are completely booked for all of December and our dates are not flexible.

Great trip report Jodi! Looks like you have our favorite lounging spot at IA. We were lucky enough to get a room there in July and November. Its our favorite place. There was just a write up on IA in Islands magazine. I suppose now that the word is out it will make it even harder to get rooms!
