Make the ride to Negril part of your vacation!

Lovin that bottom picture johng posted on the top of the bus. Seems like that ride might have been better than any roller coaster youncould ride in the states, thrill-wise.

Way better than any roller coaster I have ever been on. It was over in the mountains in Portland and the roads were steep and curvy not to mention narrow. No way going over small bridges to manage a vehicle coming the other way. You always had to pay attention to low hanging wires strung across the road and duck when you came to one. The only thing more exciting that I have ever seen although I didn't try it out was the train that used to travel from Kingston to MoBay though the heart of Jamaica, people would ride on top of the train in the same way I did on the Big Bus but you would come to some really low tunnels and how they were able to lay flat enough not to get smacked is a mystery to me. Last time I was in Kingston (last year) all the old Big Buses had been replaced by new modern ones and I have no idea if they even travel the rural routes any more.
