In a conversation some years back we were discussing how he came to negril. It seems that Andy was a jeweler in Des Moines and had visited Negril a couple times. At some point in his life he began to question his career path and he said he came to the realization that he was never going to become financially rich in Des Moines neither would he in Negril. But he said as he sat looking out at a grey leafless 20 degree day he made a decision. I can see how he explained it to me today.
