Are you on Facebook? If you like WJ, you'll be notified of their sales on Thursdays. Do you know your travel dates? I sign up for alerts on kayak. You just put in your dates along with airports and every day you get an alert on prices for your dates/route - all airlines. I find the alert email comes about 11pm every night. Usually Tuesday evening comes out with the best prices and sometimes by the next day, they are gone. Best price I've gotten from Saskatoon is $279 + tax, one way, for one connection only. I have seen prices go a bit lower, maybe twice a year, if you're departing on a Tuesday or Wednesday...sometimes the cheaper deals entail 2 or 3 connections...not something I'm willing to do anymore!

I have been checking obsessively for good prices for our dates (November 27th to December 8th) and the price is always sitting around $870, way to high for me to pull the trigger. When we lived in Winnipeg we never paid more than about $550 each and those were direct flights.
I contacted WestJet the other day and asked about the possibility of direct flights from Calgary and they responded that they used to have them but they weren't utilized enough

Hmm, don't have any problems with kayak. Just registered and set up alerts. Without it, I spose you can just go onto WJ's site everyday. Probably around 3 pm or a bit later. For sure don't miss Tuesday and Wednesday.
