I attended the Ziggy Marley concert in Saskatoon last month. It was an outdoor venue at the Bessborough Gardens. It was no smoking there. If you wanted a cigarette you had to step out of the grounds to smoke. No one seemed to care about that,no fuss.Just no smoking in the venue.Maybe it's because it's been this way in Canada for quite some time now that it is accepted. I think it's just a matter of getting used to it.It is defiantly the the new norm.I am sure if anyone had insisted on smoking at this concert they would have been arrested also,or at the very least kicked out of the concert.

As an occasional Negril visitor and infrequent smoker I get upset about the cig butt issue.... in the trash is only fair.... but e-cigs should be embraced not
shunned in my opinion.. the reason I went from smoker to "infrequent smoker" is due to the e-cigs.... has helped me almost eliminate smoking altogether...
and as far as a ban on them?... why? how is the water vapor/flavor mist bothering anyone?... Ive even been told it smells like air freshener if anything....
depending on your product.... my point is that smokers and non will always have this issue, and I can respect set boundaries for the issue ... but banning
e-cigs/electronic hookahs feels alot like kicking someone when they are down.... and to be honest, the last thing I want to do when I do smoke or toke is
be around a bunch of people turning their nose up at my chosen activity.... seems like a natural thing to just step away and who knows?.... maybe you might
bond with a fellow smoker and make a new friend.... lol.... everyone can live with his and get along as long as here understandning the other's view... peace

Those who imagine a revenue producing conspiracy may consider the huge tax revenue provided by the smoking community every time they light up. Taxes on cigarettes are a huge contributor to government coffers. Using your logic the government should encourage smoking.

Yes, increasing tax on cigarettes would bring in much more revenue than trying to bust people smoking. My state just tacked on another dollar per pack. Tax plus ban = even mo' money
