On the $4900 price for before Christmas ; with your maintenance fee and taxes included you are talking about $110 dollars per night. What you would be doing is locking in your nightly rate for the next ten years (with the exception of any increase of the maintenance fee in that time). You still need airfare and transfers food booze etc. so it comes down to what you would pay otherwise and is the location, room size, room capacity, amenities.....fridge? stove or hotplate? microwave? suitable for your needs? The last I looked the rooms are small with a small fridge in some. I don't know if Chris has upgraded the rooms more since then. In the mid 80's I bought into a one bedroom 2 bath unit on the beach for 25 years. Full kitchen, slept 6 with fold out couch in the living room,on the beach in a good location for $6900 and had no regrets.Do your math and weigh your options .
