It might be a good deal if you assume that the standard room rates will increase over the next ten years and you like staying at SeaStar every time. One of the things that makes a traditional timeshare attractive is that you get exchange privileges with other resorts in other locations. However, I know many people are loyal Seastar customers and do stay there every trip, sometimes multiple times a year. But for me - with limited vacation time - I may stay at Seastar, but it wouldn't be for a whole week.
