polygraph testing in jamaica and negril

When circumstances of a serious nature arise with a employee of a resort or business, Would a polygraph be plausable to clear or remove suspicion of said person?. I understand quest security in jamaica offers the service.

I see it as an opportunity to provide weight of innocence, To never have what ever the circumstance is to hang over ones head forever.Just my 2 cents.

There was an article in the Gleaner in June:

"The Jamaica Polygraph Association is reporting that more and more Jamaicans are warming to the idea of undergoing a polygraph test at the workplace.

Deryck Dwyer, president of the Jamaica Polygraph Association and managing director of Global Integrity Services, told The Sunday Gleaner that fewer people are refusing to take a company-mandated lie detector test."

having taken a polygraph just to gain employment.... I wouldn't wish the procedure on anyone, nor would I do it again... even though I passed.....

In the US and other countries, these tests are used as a tool to help invoke confessions for crimes that might otherwise go unsolved. They do proove you're nervous. They don't proove you're guilty.

There's an actual association for polygraphs? REALLLY???? WOW!
