Striper - AirTran charges $25 for first checked bag and then $35 for 2nd checked bag

Tell you what,they're serious about the 50# weight also,one bag weighed 34# no prob,2nd51.5# it was gonna cost 75bucks extra!! You can be sure I found a way to reduce that pound and a half! I saw a lot of that which I think is part of the reason check in is so SLOW!

Got the same deal in december but they do tack on the baggage and a seat assignment fee but all in all my wife and I are flying round trip direct flight both ways for around 840 for both of us.Best deal I had in years.
