    Would you feel safer with or without?.What is a resorts obligation to provide a safe secure enviroment?.

    More resorts and even restaurants and bars are installing security cams - pro or con, they are here to stay...

    In theory, I really don't like the idea that we're on camera everywhere. But I expect it these days at hotels and resorts and think on balance it's probably a good idea.

    Wonder if Hedo has security cameras,bet they could see some pretty strange things if they did!!!

    I can see the benefits. Only if someone is actually monitoring them, however.

    its fine as long as they are clear enough to provide definite identification...and if they are there as a "intervention device" they are responded to in a timely fashion ......something tried is better than empty rooms and eventually loss of tourism......

    Any business owner, no matter where the location, is stupid to not have video cameras.

    Just think they can be a positive means of clearing someone that is in a bad situation. if it was mean in da hot plate i would be happy to show that there is no problem hook me up... and the resort can prove or show reality . anyway bless mon!

    Security cameras are purchased in hopes of crime prevention, but IMHO it takes a very sophisticated vendor to propose and install anything that amounts to something more than snake oil, smoke and mirrors.
    We're all in this together and none of us is getting out alive.
