    Underwater maps

Is there a underwater map for scuba and snorklers of the negril area? I understand there are cannons that can be seen in 30 ft of water somewhere around booby cay, And an airplane in bloody bay ect. The way my good friend gerry g 123 was getting around with fin fins and a snorkle makes me wanna try. just think it would be cool if the underwater attractions were mapped out. Do you have a favorite dive or snorkle spot?. Are the fish more in one area or another? bless.

If you go to a good dive shop they can get ocean botton maps for any area you are looking for. also you can get lat/long of any dive site through them ..heres a usefull site also. http://www.divebuddy.com/scubaearth ..remember though maps of ocean and sea bottoms are not accurate 100% w know this because of storms and tides..i would recommend going with a dive shop or good guide if you want to see the sites ..dived the plane in the 90's was pretty deteriorated i have not been down since then would love to see pics if you do...theres also a tugboat off mo bay... just my opinion hope some of it helps...

    Charley,

Any boat operator will be able to take you to "cannon and anchor" They have been there for at least 150 yrs. My dive boats always took our passengers out there.

Some think they were planted there for tourists but that is not true.

Rhodes Hall has some really good snorkel sites too! Not as overfished and I do think it is protected...so keep the spears out.. They post a nice graphic of the reefs in that area. Check some of the prior posts...I saw them on Negril.com yet they might also be on their website. Nice, quiet place to hang out, grab your gear, or rent theirs...and swim out to the reefs. Enjoy!!

Vincent will hook you up in a heartbeat to see the cannon, etc near Booby Cay.

I hate it when my maps get under water. They are so hard to re-fold and store.
