That's correct Prism. We still have our business center available at Travellers at a cost of $150 J per 15 mins. However, we have upgraded our internet backbone since then. So now we have a fiber optic backbone and wifi thought the property (all rooms and public areas). It's completely free of charge. So Scotch, if you want to come hang out with your laptop on the pool deck, restaurant or beach you are more than welcome.

It's going to be very hard to study for an online course while on the beach or at an Internet cafe. I tried a few years ago to study for my pilots license. It was infact impossible. Read one line, look up and watch the goings on for 5 minutes, then go back and read the same line you just read because you forgot what is was. People watching in Negril is a full time job.

You'd be better off getting a room with wi-fi and bring the laptop down. Dedicate an hour or so in the morning before it gets too hot and stick to it. Do it even if you don't feel to we'll from the night before. Stick to it and it'll all work out.

My vote would be to go have breakfast at the GOA Cafe and set up shop for a couple hours there. Have breakfast (banana pancakes recommended) and coffee, usually pretty quiet around there in the morning (no worse than a coffee shop back home anyways.

I wouldn't trust other machines to get into an online class. Chances are they are slow, won't boot, don't have the software you need, etc.
