Size: 8.2 KBA very sad day - we just learned of the loss of a very special friend.
Dennis Lynch, Owner of Whoopees - West End Negril, was killed in a traffic accident in Jamaica.
If you go Up on the West end of Negril, past Ricks Cafe and just past the lighthouse, you'll see a park and goats running freely. A small sign declaring you have arrived at "Whoopees Hammock Park" Those who were fortunate enough to have met Dennis know that he was a man of few words but, a whole conversation would take place between those words. He had an unspoken aura that was very calming. His park is a respite from the world and complete Zen. We would take our vacations to Jamaica - just to park our selves there and recharge.
Dennis also held a special place with Pimento Wood - He supplied our very first shipment of Wood !!! When I asked him if it could be done, he said ..."Wow, and it's even legal!!"
When life gets tough everyone has a happy place they can go to in their mind:
Mine will always be at Whoopees having a redstripe with Dennis
    Mi miss yuh
