A question, would you rather we donate money, or the goods? Curious as to what your preference would be. Thanks

I was thinking some more about this - what about chewable medications like baby Aspirin and the like? Also - I am thinking of bringing some matchbox cars and something similarly small for the girlies...I can't wait to see what your final weight is (assuming you've got 50lbs to work with) and what all you end up with! I won't have a ton of room since we're there for a short time and will only have carryons, but I suspect we'll pack them well with some goodies for the kiddos.

    Hello Peregrine,

Good question, but there's no simply yes or no answer..... St. Anthony's can always use both, money or goods... it's whatever YOU want to do as it's all appreciated

    Give thanks!

    Hello jenB,

Yes adult clothes are useful, not for the children of course but there are always adults who are in need and our program would certainly be able to make sure they get to those in need. Give thanks!

I encourage anyone I meet heading to Negril to Volunteer. Although you are trying to enjoy a vacation it will only take a couple hours out of your vacation to help set up for lunch, sweep floors, organize the stock room, learn how to cook Jamaican food correctly from the 3 ladies. The kids will sit around with you and tell you about school, sports, and jokes. Best part of our vacation in June.

My wife and I and 2 friends will be heading back to Negril the last week of March 2014. The list posted awhile back really helped narrow things needed. Was wondering if we could get a top 10 item list?

    Good morning jsteil,

Thanks so much for your kind words! I agree, spending just a couple of hours out of your vacation to help at the Kitchen is very rewarding I will speak with Fr. Jim about a top 10 item list and get back to you.

    Have a blessed day!
