Morning Greetings,

A few people were asking to have a Top Ten List of items most needed at St. Anthony's Kitchen. Here's the list (a likkle more than 10 items

Money:
- The ongoing need to purchase food & supplies never ends—the Kitchen itself costs about USD$5,000/month to operate
* We will have information about the Canadian Friars accepting donations very soon

Children ages 4-12, boys & girls:
- underwear
- socks (black & brown)
- school shoes (black & brown)

Hygiene items
- toothpaste
- brushes
- soap
- etc

School supplies:
pencils, pens, crayons, notebooks, erasers, rulers, lined paper, back packs/book bags, etc

Children’ toys/games (Christmas is coming)

Flip flops – all sizes (they call them slippers in JA)

Give thanks for all the support, you are helping a truly worthy/needed cause

LOL.... good one! No, we aren't in need of any more egg lifters right now.... although kitchen utensils are always needed, the egg lifter doesn't make the Top Ten List

We will be arriving very soon. Extra room in the case. Glad to hear you're ok on egg lifters, but specifically what kitchen utensils can I bring? I plan to bring several things from the top ten. Also, I hope to pay you all a visit and help out in the kitchen one day if you need a spare set of hands, it would be an honor to come help and meet you all. I'm an early riser and know my way around the kitchen. Can't think of a better way to spend a morning or two.

When I was there in July, they needed LONG handle serving spoons, etc.........maybe they have received new ones by now.............and...................The Staff will appreciate the help...........they work hard to get the job done..........I'll be there in Feb!!!!!!
