What is the number 5? It is a prime number. It is a congruent number. It is the Roman numeral V. It is the standard number of fingers on a hand, toes on a foot, arms on a star fish, points in a pentagram, number of elements in the universe or in Asian culture the number of worldly elements. It was Joe DiMaggio’s jersey number. It’s the typical number of gears for a standard transmission. It’s the price of a foot-long at Subway. It represents the center position in things like basketball and keypads. It’s the number of times I hit snooze on my alarm clock before getting ready for work each morning. It’s the number of additional minutes my toddler wants before bath time, bed time, or anything else she’s avoiding. There’s the 5 second rule, high fives, Chanel’s No. 5. According to GerryG123 (I hope you want to be in the report), it’s the number of things Bentley puts on your plate. And for me, this trip to Negril is number 5, my longest reach yet and possibly the most anticipated. And it just so happens, this trip report is beginning 5 days before arrival. OK, so that part was quite intentional. It may have just a few posts before I actually arrive, perhaps 5, but you can expect the report to pick up once I’m back in paradise. And maybe, just maybe, you all will consider this a 5 star report.
