Late Sept/Early Oct trip...roll call???

Hi...I'm not seeing any roll calls for this time frame, yikes!!! Is the beach deserted or am I too early? We are staying at Catcha for our stay but after a quick call to GP, we might do a split but now i'm worried. I keep readign all of the wonderful things people have to say about GP and how it is right in the middle of everything but my question is, is Burbon Beach, Alfred's and others open during this time or is it a very quiet time to go because of the weather? Also, does anyone have suggestions on a particular room at GP? Thanks!

September 28- October 4 at rondel village for our family of 4 (kids are 6 and 9). The kids have never been before. Super excited!
