When we were there in June, it was actually more prevelant with the beach boy's and the older women. A couple of older women (older than I am anyway) arrived at our hotel a few days after we got there, and they were looking for beach boys to hook up with. They knew exactly what they were going for and that it would cost them. I don't think they were more than 24 hours before they had their companions..but thats what they were there for I guess..
