What would your ideal trip to Negril include?

I'm new to this board but I've been going to Negril for the last decade, and other than the 1st stay at an AI, my trips have been pretty much staying at the Negril Yoga Center, milling about on the beach across the street, and crashing early. (You know, if done properly, you can get plenty tired in Negril by 9 pm). I often joke that I don't have to move 50 yards in either direction- everything I need (and then some) usually comes to me while I'm sitting on the beach.

But this year I'm determined to get out of that beach chair (hey, it could happen) and see a little more of the area and nightlife. From lurking around your posts for the last couple of weeks I've gotten some ideas on where to go.

So I thought I'd ask you all what your ideal itinerary would be for a week's stay at Negril. I understand that the whole point of going to Negril is to let the vacation happen to you rather than scheduling every minute. But if you could, what would be your recommended activities for each day or night -Sunday through Saturday.

For nightlife, I would definitely do Seastar on a Saturday night for the buffet and show. I would also hit up Alfreds one night (Tues, Fri, Sun) for their show/party. And Thursday night at the Jungle is always an adventure.

One Love Bus Crawl will allow you to see several different places within a few hours, so that would be my suggestion.

All of the above plus, a beach crawl, a cliff crawl, monday at Red dragon, tuesday webcast at 3 dives and chicken or lobster, thursday webcast at Canoe, some rum punch, then a nap, then to Jungle for ladies night, friday Margaritaville 10 til 2 all you can drink upstairs, saturday one love show at Seastar, then to the Jungle all you can drink f for one price, sunday webcast brunch at cafe Goa, mixed in some where, a late night trip to, Scrubadub, Rooftop, and American Pie, a day trip to the Blue hole in Brighton, a day trip to Pelican bar, A ride far west for a few drinks and a tour of the Westender, if you need more thats a sample of what I do for a week in Negril!!

What is the rooftop and American Pie ?

Rooftop is a club on top of the yellow plaza in town. American Pie is a bar above what commonly refered to as the chinaman store, right at the curve across fom Burger king.

Yoga Centre seems like a cool spot. Got to see it when my airport ride stopped to pick up a passenger.
You're so close to everything and the grounds are very beautiful.
I agree with others. Seastar Inn Saturday night experience must be at the top of your list.
Free ride there and back!
Taxi to west end; walk; soak in the scene for an afternoon and meet some great people.
