over night trip to ocho rio

With the new road the drive from Negril to Ocho Rios is only about 3 hours depending on MoBay traffic. We always make the trip to visit Donna's mother in Oracabessa, east of Ochi. We leave bright and early and return to Negril dark and late. The last few years we have paid our favorite driver $300US for this trip. He spends the whole day with us and does any other driving we need while there to visit friends and relations. As far as where to stay I am no help. When we have stayed on that side of the island it is always with family.
