    Green Grotto Caves

I spotted the Green Grotto Caves on Google earth today. Looks pretty cool. It's about 45 minutes to an hour east of MoBay. Anyone ever been there? If anyone can recommend it I thought it would be cool to check it out before heading down to Negril on the next reach. Yea mon.

Sounds really cool. I googled it and here is their website. Apparently, near Discovery Bay. I'll add another link or two also. May have to check this out myself.

We went many years ago when we stayed in Runaway Bay. I wouldn't take any time away from Negril to do this. My opinion on this place might have to do with the fact that we rode bikes in sweltering heat from Club Ambiance to get there and to top it off, my bike's front tire was flat. There was a cool area in the caves where there used to be a bar but you'd probably spend a lot more time in travel than you would actually in the caves.

For movie buffs, the Green Grotto Caves were used in the filming of the James Bond movie Live and Let Die....

I went many years ago and I'm glad I went but wouldn't go again. We had a really neat tour guide who was entertaining and full of information. The only part I really hated was the section that was full of bats. There is a "pool" in there where you can take a dip.

Just a warning.....if you have asthma that is triggered by mold/mildew then this place is not for you. A friend went last year and thankfully she had her inhaler.
