Hilltop Village Resort

Has anyone stayed at the Hilltop within the last few years? The reviews on Trip Advisor are few and far between, the most recent from 2010.

We are trying to find long term (8weeks) accommodation on the cliffs and this looks like it could fit our needs. If you have any other suggestions that would be great too.

Hilltop not on the cliffs. It's in redground. Thats if it is still up and running

Thanks for the clarification Boogzy. The Red Ground area is fine as long as we can find suitable long-term accommodations (apartment, cottage, small house, etc.)

You could also check out the new negril.com sponsor, Negril Luxury Apartments (see the Market section of this site). I have emailed Walter a couple of times and he has been extremely responsive, the apartments look wonderful and the rate seems very reasonable. Good luck!

Hilltop has been closed for some time now.
Below is a link from Negril.com that has 3 properties to choose that offer long term rental...each a bit different, but equally as nice!

Sadly, our neighbour the Hilltop Hotel has been sold about a year ago and since then remains inactive, falling in disrepair. Great potential and beautiful, strategic location and a long history.
