As a diehard beer drinker, I am unsure if you can get any types of coolers in Negril. We are coming down in March with some newbs and one question is "Do they have coolers, like Mikes Hard Lemonade, Palm Bays, Smirnoff Ice?" and I am at a loss here. Any idea? Have assured her that she will not go thirsty, but cannot answer this....help!!!!

They have Smirnoff Ice both red and black, and some of the Smirnoff flavoured ones for sure.

Yup...no worries...4 flavours of Smirnoff Ice...no Mike's that I've seen...there are other brands here to try also...
Smirnoff Ice is huge in Negril and most bars and stores carry it.....

I got a collapsible cooler at the Mega Mart in Mobay but it was junk....started leaking after first use. I recommend bringing a soft cooler from home as your carry on.

I took a cooler on wheels a few years ago and it has been well worth the $25 second bag fee I paid to get it to Jamaica. A friend of mine keeps it for me when I'm not there. I am planing to take another one in December and will wait for the season to end to get another cooler.
I've seen Smirnoff Ice and Smirnoff vodka at the HI Lo plus the bars sell it.
