OMG, she rocked!! All 4 turned their chairs. She went with Adam Levine. The Chin family is loaded with talent. Well, I know where my votes are going this season. Sorry to go on about it, but I am such a major music fan. To see this type of talent and from Jamaica...well...I am all over it. She even had a video from Jimmy Cliff, whom she has sang with in the past. Nice to see props given to the reggae legend on National TV.

Thank you for this post. We don't get a chance to catch a lot shows like this due to our schedule and I am so glad I caught this thread. The you tube clip was amazing, goose bump amazing seeing Dad with tears on his cheek. Incredible. I hope she wins.
When I listened to the judges ask her name and where she was from and if she sang much before this, I just wanted to scream " are you kidding me?!" If you ever listen to her hit Hideaway, it has to be one of the most difficult songs ever performed and also one of the most beautifully done. Not many singers in the world could rival her performance on that one.
What's scary is that her sister is even better.

I loved how one of them said something like "I just want to listen to her talk". She was so good and I'll definitely be rooting for her.
The show has barely begun but I think she will win. She is amazing!!!!
I was soooo excited for her...have loved Tessanne & Tami for quite some time!
ROCK IT, LADY!
that was amazing! I may actually have to watch this show..

Sometimes it's better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission.
ohmygoodness!!! Sam thank you for posting the link. I got goosebumps watching it. She and her sister are favorites of mine. They are both extremely talented and love how they hold their own separate singing & performing styles. When she said she was from Kingston Jamaica I clapped as if she was talking about my home town...lol
I also wonder if she will do any of the other "covers" she has already recorded. I have heard a few of her "reggae" versions of songs like "Fireworks" that are great!
