day trip to Rocklands Bird Sanctuary

It definitely was a magical place. We loved it.

I've been to "must see" places all over the island, but nothing compares to the magic of having a Dr Bird perch on your finger to take a lick of sugar water. Don't go without a camera and take the nature walk.

@Marblehead-there were other types of birds. The caretaker sprinkled bird seed on my legs and some of the other small birds landed and ate the seed. We did not see any parrots. Although we enjoyed our time there I think there were probably more birds back in the day with the original owner.
