Maybe when you get there you find out why it was such a great price ? Had to do an overnight there due to the plane and lets just say I hope it never happens again.

Say it ain't so, you did not give up CoCo for Mo Bay ? Well, something tells me you will have loads
of fun wherever you go, and now you will have a reason to get back to CoCo and meet me some day down the line. Have a great time!!!

Hey, I'm having a similar dilemma (but since it's Jamaica- I can't really call it a dilemma).
I'm a true Negril lover and have been there many times, I'll be back many more times. I've found a great deal and I'm doing a mother/daughter, friend & friend's grandson trip in Trelawny. We have a good friend stopping nearby on a cruise ship (Falmouth) for a day and we need to think of a way that we can enjoy a day together in paradise. The dilemma might be 3 ladies aged 50-mid 60's (fit and not so fit)and 2 younger people. How can we all enjoy the day without waterfall climbing and such other adventures? I've done the most touristy things in the past and would just love to see natural beauty and enjoy the day and keep the 2 younger ones happy at the same time. Any ideas? I feel like a trader to Negril, but I promise... I'll be back for sure. Some of the places I've been to were definitely worth repeating like YS falls (since I don't have to climb up slippery rocks, Rockland's bird sanctuary etc.)

Jamakafun ..... If your family/friends will be there overnite, Glistening Waters is fascinating at nite-time. Bbout a half hour drive east of Falmouth is Discovery Bay. There's the Green Grotto caves in D-bay - they give tours, the caves have steps down to an underground cenote where a James Bond clip was filmed.

Thank you Everyone for the great list of things to do!

This is what I came up with

    The Pier
    Doctor's Cave Beach
    Walter Fletcher beach (Aquasol)
    Margaritaville Thursday night
Hip Strip - I'm assuming it's a strip with restaurants, clubs, shopping etc.?

Also, I'm assuming I need a taxi for these places?

    nude beach :-)
and if you need anything just take 2 steps out the gates --- there are a plethora of drivers on the other side :-) i escaped out there a few times --- just to be able to talk with some Jamaicans
Thanks Seveen for the advice oh and btw did you mention "nude beach"? and I definitely will be escaping for some Jamaicans vibe

Update: I will be staying at The Gloucestershire Hotel a couple days in addition to Sunset Beach trying to get AI & Non-AI experience..

Is Margaritaville & The Pier close to Glou hotel or I need a taxi?

Oh yes..the sharks teeth...the bartenders would pocket teeth (2us dollars each) during their shifts and sell 'em later for .50 cents each...we stayed cheap many times..place closed afer Ja. Govt took over (even got more corrupt lol)...the resort is in a nice setting...quick trip to town...peace and quiet back "home"...it was a good place to hide out during violent elections years past...some taxi drivers stayed overnight after carting fares out there, too dangerous too go back at night.....wonderful place "Cave Disco"

Gloucestershire is on the strip --- you can walk to Margaritaville, The Brewery, Pork Pit --- the Pelican (for food) -- you will need a taxi to get to Pier One

Gloucestershire has been remodeled in the last couple of years --- good reviews on trip advisor

    have fun!
