Regardless of what the previous manager of the bar and kitchen did they were always stead when we were there last. I am sure they will make their fair share of profits off of my group and myself when we are down in January. Glad to hear that they will be open.

No clue what stead means (a Canadian term? :-) but profit means making money after paying rent, utilities, for supplies, paying staff, other expenses, etc. It wasn't happening so lots of back rent owed. Very nice people, really great food so a real shame. Too bad your group or others like you/them couldn't be there year round to keep the place out of the red.
