in the past i've almost always gone end nov to early dec but we're going to miss each other by a month, this year i arrive dec 30 until mar 5. i'm going to avoid as much winter as possible.

Perfect time to be away! Are you quitting your job or do you just have that much flexibility to get all that time off?
