Where can you buy blow up rafts/floats in Negril? I am also looking to buy a beach umbrella too. Should I stop at Mega Mart in MoBay to buy this stuff? I would like to pack light & buy these things when I get there. Thanks!

things that will be sturdy, not toys might best be carried down if possible, otherwise you might find costs to be high for quality goods, certainly not in Negril, best shop in MoBay

I have found the floats at Times Square. Store #10. Probably the other stores would have them too. I'm not sure about the umbrellas though, haven't looked for them myself. Also, it depends on where you're staying. Coco La Palm has the floats in their gift shop. Nothing better than floating on the sea =) Enjoy!!!
I would go to MegaMart in MoBay - you will be able to find a great selection of everything there, including rafts and floats. It is directly on the way the from the airport - your driver will know where it is so just ask!

Little shop at Bar B Barn run by the Indian lady usually has them in stock.
We bought rafts at the drug store by the roundabout last year and they were reasonably priced there but I don't remember seeing any beach umbrellas
At many of the hotels the folks who had a float just leave them there when they go home.
Thank you for your responses! I have always brought rafts with us & left them at the hotel for others to use when we leave. This visit, I want to minimize my luggage, so I thought I would just pick up a raft while in JA. Funny thing is I've been to Mega Mart, but only in the liquor store!Last time there, my husband & daughter went in while I sat in the car w/the driver! I might have to bring an umbrella. Last year a couple staying at our hotel brought 2 w/them that fit in their suitcases - portabrella.com .Some other people had umbrellas that definitely wouldn't fit in a suitcase & looked brand new (the kind you pick up at Sam's or Costco). Yeah, the beach was packed & not much shade.
