It's a bit hard to see, but the sea platform and beach was packed at Margaritaville as Jamaican families from all over the island were spending the day playing.
I tried not to make anyone feel uncomfortable and invade their privacy, there were many people behind me (at Treehouse) and off to the left on the beach chairs next door. But the number one place for the Jamaican families was definitely Margaritaville and the sea float was the hit of the day!
The National Ceremonies were held in Kingston at King's House to salute the Jamaican honourees with awards and certificates for their meritorious service over the years.
We want to thank all the past Heroes who have helped build Jamaica and the current heroes who continue to improve the island in their own personal ways.
