Hey Elise,
thank you for sharing your work. My wife is an artist as well and she has found that Negril is getting her creative juices flowing again. She did a painting of a well know Jamaican artist last year and it was really cool to see his reaction when she gave it to him.

If I could get beyond stick figures I could paint all day with the vibrance of Jamaica.

the thing is, booger, that if you really wanted to use painting to express yourself, starting with stick figures might just be incredible. everybody has the ability. it's the judgments about whether or not it's good that keep us from so many self expressive activities.
