I stay at the Golden Sunset (across the road from Alfred's). They have nice rooms with a shared full kitchen - fridge, stove, dishes, pans etc. It's a really nice place to stay.

Don't know anything about kitchens! But I grew up in rural North Carolina and "dinner" was a big mid-day meal and supper was what you had at night!
