    Exactly one week ago today.....

..... the farmer's market was in Negril at the usual spot, the Beach Park. BUT.... there were some changes to the presentation

I got there in the afternoon and missed a steal band performance so I was told! There was a big tent set up with lots of chairs to sit down and a big sign hung saying "Agro Tourism Farmer's Market".

There were many new vendor stalls as well.... selling honey, local spices, crafts, juices.... wow!

    BIG difference, BIG improvement!

BIG UP those involved Hoping this 'vibe' and all these new vendors remain for a while every last Wednesday of the month

    Blessings!

I love a good farmers market! I have heard rumors to the effect of making the park exclusively a farmer's market. In my opinion, the public park should host the farmer's market no more than once a week, and allow the public park to remain a place where locals can access the beach. Perhaps "they" could even upgrade the recreational facilities back to usable condition.

I agree with you goldilocks! The farmers market should be weekly, currently it's the last Wednesday of the month only. And yes, the park needs renovations and should be open to the public every day, including market day Just mi likkle opinion
