Oh Yeah!!!! I have fond memories of working the beehives with my Grandfather. I will never forget the site of his "beesuit" as he called it and him with the smoker.
I bought some honey and toured the hives in Negril with a great rasta! One can buy honey directly from him or at some of the local stores that carry his honey. Rough House...I believe is the name. He is located down the lane from Seastar. If coming out of the SS gate...take a right and walk on down the lane. It really isn't very far. You should see his place on the right. Anyone along the lane will know which house. I knocked on the door...originally, just to purchase some honey...and began telling him about my Grandfather. He said, "Wanna see mi hives?" and with that, we were off into the bush, just a short walk from his house. It totally made my visit!!! All those childhood memories came flooding back. It was awesome.
