Re: honey bees
in Jamaica,
there's a bee-*robbers* organization/association
i *vague-ly* recall there being an active *chapter* in Westmoreland/Hanover Parishes
i suggest doing a Google, and or contact the Jamaican government agriculture-folks... the government seems to have a VERY good website:: >>>> http://jis.gov.jm/
in Lucea-country, where i *stay* there's a guy who robs-bees.
i get his honey all the time --- good stuff
IF you're there when I am, i might be able to link-you with him. His cellie number, contact info is buried on one of my computers.
additionally,
i vaguely recall once see-ing a bunch of hives, some someplace just outside of Negril, near OrangeBay ---- can be seen from the main road.
oh
oh
oh::>> 'less i forget:::>>> i haven't been on-island in over 2-years, soooooooo EVERY-thing i've posted above might be NOT-so.
as you probably already know, stuff do tend to change quickly & overnight in Jamaica ---- here today, GONE tommorow ---- is a bartender today, is a security guard the next-trip, blah blah raa raa
