    Re: tobacco smoking...New law

WOW. I have a rather opinionated view on smoking bans and bans in general. However I can't help but think that they are indirectly attached to marijuana usage. I live in NYC and once that smoking ban started here the entire landscape of "partying" changed. Basically if you can't smoke cigarettes how can you cover up the MJ smoke > You Can't.

In Colombia,South America they now have a ban on smoking in.....HOTELS !!!! How many of you would go to JA if you couldn't smoke in your ROOM which is an ENCLOSED PUBLIC AREA ?

I've said it before and I will say it again, "Smoking bans are a FOOT IN THE DOOR for a whole mess of new bans/laws to come". I'd rather that the citizens control the flow of smoke than the Govt.

The nanny state has reached Jamaica. Pitiful.

Jamaicans don't take things like this too lightly so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
