Yes, there is a duty free kiosk between immigration and the baggage hall, just past the cambio. They have liquor and cigarettes.

I just called the contact for the arrival duty free. I don't get in until 7:30 pm and was worried it would be closed. She told me that they are open after every major flight, 24/7.

You are allowed one carton of cigarettes and one liter of alcohol duty free pp.

    Re: Duty Free??

Prices aren't as good as departure duty free, at least Sunshine liquor and the smoke shop. The fancy walk through duty free is more expensive (I believe 2 nutz reported that). I think the smoke shop sells Marlboros for about $29/carton. I believe they're about $31-$33 on arrival (just going by memory here). 2nutz will have close to exact figures. I think the local liquor can be found cheaper at Negril grocery stores. It's good though for those of us who are arriving late in the day and won't be able to stop at a store on the way - I'm using a shared ride this time, so likely won't be able to stop, and the stores in Negril will probably be closed when I get there. Will want to have a nightcap when I get to my room balcony, and hopefully some rum cream for my coffee the next morning.

I didn't look at the prices of cigarettes, but liquor was def more than Sunshine (dep). Hopefully someone else will have pricing on cigarettes, but you might be best to buy them at the duty free in your departure airport, could be cheaper.

FYI....incoming duty free were out of Marlboro Lights when we came through about a month ago. I'm sure they restock but wanted to put it out there that they might be out of what you're looking for.

Just checked the TA thread. Someone reported that cigarettes were $31.50 carton. A LOT cheaper than in Canada (they don't sell Canadian brands). I don't know, can you buy cigs cheaper in the states?
