Just curious - what happened with the transportation? Someone recently had an issue concerning safety with their driver from airport to Negril.

Just curious - what happened with the transportation? Someone recently had an issue concerning safety with their driver from airport to Negril.

I used someone from the list for my transfer, he sent someone in his place. No complimentary drink, in a large van with no A/C. I wanted to go to Mega Mart, the driver tried talking me out of going, then he got lost twice (ended up in some dodgy place) on the way there. Once in Mega Mart I felt extremely rushed, the driver came in & stared until I finished. I wanted to go to the Cambio, but after this I was like forget it.
On the way to Negril, still no A/C in the 8 passenger van, it rained so windows couldn't stay down. I felt like I was going to pass out from the heat. Then the driver stops & picks up one of his friends to drop off on the way.

I just felt like this was not the experience I paid for.

it would be fair to the poster, but it would be nice if the person being talked about had a explanation, or could offer insight to the reason for all of this...sound unusual for a taxi.....it may cost ya, but as a rule they are very accommodating......

my guess as to why he tried talking you out of going to MegaMart is because he wasn't sure where it was since he got lost twice
