Share a broadband wimax modem

Digicel sells a 4g broadband modem/ wifi router for aprox 4,200 Does anyone who will be departing Negril on Jan 31 want to help share its cost. I will arrive Jan 30 and plan on purchasing the DX 250 from digicel see their website. I would be happy to purchase it from a boardie who bought and used it for their needs and passed it on to me when I arrive

Obviously this is not for someone who has free wifi at their hotel or is satisfied with conducting business at front desks or bars and restaurants.
additional info: This is for anyone staying in the service area (almost all of Negril see map). Looking to share the modem and possibly the service plan with someone who needs/desires unlimited connection in their unserved room/cottage.

my friend loves hers --- she took it to hedo (they charge for wifi) and was setup and posting pictures in minutes

It is only $40 right? Might be a little bit of a hassle to get the timing of the handoff worked out just right. What about just buying it and trying to sell it when you are on your way out?

sure I can do that also...anyone interested in this to own after Feb 7,2014 $40 is cheap but sharing is even cheaper. I am going to get one either way but prefer to own at the end.
