    Happy hours and cheap beer

This is a list I compiled for my last trip.
Can anyone tell me if it's still accurate or where it's inaccurate?

(Some of my memories are a little fuzzy.
I do recall an afternoon of Heineken's on the Porch of Mi Yard and a peanut vender going by with a whistle on the peanut cart - good peanuts, good times
. Another spot we frequented often is the place with the swings on the beach - can't understand why my memory is fuzzy on this stuff - hoho!)

    Bar Specials
Corner Bar has cheap drinks and beers . . . some on here call it a hookers bar - big signs saying no ganga smoking on every wall, lots of slot machines.

White Sands 2 for 1 drink specials till 4PM

Legends and SamSara Happy Hour 4 - 7PM
YellowBird Happy Hour 4 to sunset on da beach
    Rockhouse 6-7pm

SeaStar Inn Happy Hour 4-6pm - excellent service and a lot of fun, may have gotten fuddled here more than once.

Canoe Happy Hour 2-6pm - 2 for 1 Red Stripes $200J's - very nice joint.

Coco LaPalm 2 for one Happy Hour from 5 to 7 every night but Monday

Boat Bar for 200J Red Stripes on da beach - we wound up here more than once

Sunnyside Bar (Yellow and Green with bench seatiing - next to ROOMS) 150J Red Stripe Beers
SunBeach for 170J Red Stripes on da beach - it's mi hangout on da beach
Firefly for 170J Red Stripes on da beach
White Sands Mondays $160J Red Stripe Beers
Aqua Bar on the beach on Sundays 5PM - 7PM has some super specials on rum and appetizers - nice place

I was just hanging at (this week) White Sands, Boat Bar, SunBeach, Sunnyside and Myrnas. I think those are all fairly accurate prices?? (I'm always fuzzy when I'm here!) Aqua was sold and is no longer what it was. Bartender (Donavan?) moved down the beach....already can't remember where he is now...Aqua does have some cheap rum punch, but I havent tried them yet.

    Midiri,
I checked your hyperlink and found out I must not have compiled that list.
However the stuff in italics are my recollections (talk about heavy lifting).

It's hard not to have fun on the beach, it's also hard to stay sober.
    Cheers!

Hey Rum! There's a whole BUNCH of people who wondered what happened to you! Mrs. Peel is still the Fiancee? Are you going to get married on the rock?

    Hey Guirigay,
    A long time my brother!
Yes it's still me and Mrs. Peel. (now I have the song "Me & Mrs. Jones" playing in my head)

Funny you should ask about marriage.
Mrs. Peel says the excuse for our next trip is to check out Catcha as a possible wedding venue.
Since our last reach we've traveled a lot and concluded Negril would be the ideal spot to tie the knot.
It's just MHO but Hawaii isn't a patch on Jamaica.
If I had to say why, my first answer would be: The Jamaicans.

BTW I love it when I see names I remember, they must have scrubbed my old account, because I could re-register with the same name and password.

    Good to hear from you!!!!

I like that Rum! Catcha would make an outstanding wedding venue. I proposed to Sweetie Pie on the bridge at Catcha back in April. We got married very quickly because of health concerns regarding parents, tied the knot at the end of September. Not sure, but I think your old account had some hyphens in it. Still one of the all time great board names Your story left long trails on the board. Your use of a particular "How I Met Your Mother" euphemism and my subsequent appropriation spread through the board for quite some time. Ha! Subs, indeed!

Great to see you around again.

Guiriguy - I've been wondering about a euphemism to use and today (while reading Cherrynorth's trip report) I saw she was using "sub" for that particular euphemism.

    I started that?

More importantly Major congratulations on your nuptials - hope your parents are still with you - they are irreplaceable.

Alfred's also has one I think it's from 5-6. The last I heard they were offering 2 for 1 dirty bananas.

Folks are carrying on, Rum, thanks. We'll get to see them next week. Dad has actually taken a considerably unexpected turn for the better. Irie.

    Yeah, Rum, You built that...

    Hey Mon,
Thanks to you I found my old account.
It was the hyphen that did it, or was it the butler that did it (that joke has dust on it).
