Morris Cargil is the original inventor of Tia Maria. He along with Paul Geddes (D & G) and Herbert Hart first produced Tia Maria.
Sadly this fine coffee liquor is no longer produced in Jamaica.
Cargil, who was also a Gleaner writer, first thought that alcohol with a coffee base would not, only get you buzzed but also keep you awake..........It was a recipe he got from his aunt.........
