    This is an absolutely normal and necessary occurrence after heavy rains. The South Negril River, which is dark in color because of the plant life in the morass has been credited for the naming of Negril. One of the theories of the origin of the name "Negril" is because when the Spanish in the 1500's named Negril, it was for the Spanish word for black.

    So your swimming in it right Rob?Everything A OK right?Looks like you have had a lot of rain lately and the **** ponds have dumped into the river.The same thing happens in North America.It rains ,down the street drain, to the sewage treatment plant and if it can't handle the overflow it gets dumped into the river.Done.
