If I were to to get brownies I would do a recommended Place from here. A few years back on Christmas Day we were walking up to LTU. We stopped at the little yellow Place between Ricks and LTU. Granted I had smoked all day. I ate 3 bites. Went on To LTU and had 2 rum punches. Walked back to Catcha . I only remember walking through the gate. I hallucinated for 4 hours. It ended like it came on. Chalked it up to me being a light weight. 2 days later my hubs thought he would test them out. It took him down for 3 hrs. My hubs is no light weight. We both swear there was something else in them. It was a wild ride. That's my brownie story.

This the funniest post I have read in ages! Thanks, BB for making a dull, grey, cold Montreal day bright and sunny! I'm just reading it over and had to stop typing because I am laughing after the 5th read! Tooo funny.

The brownies we got from Johnny - well we ate 1/2 each - and you know that feeling you get when you know you should sit down because you might collapse?? Well we got back to our room, locked the door and passed out. Whether it was from the brownies or the beers and rum as well we don't know. We liked the fresh out of the oven cookies we got from Karen at CanJam and we got a nice mellow buzz on a half of a Karen's cookie. So have to go back and get more. Who else makes a good quality cookie??

I would highly recommend Connie's banana muffins. Kills two birds with one stone... Breakfast and

    Mi Irie

~Just my two cents worth - I mostly only comment on places I've seen and or eaten at personally.

Moose is referring to C&D's Country Western Pub (aka Jenny's Cakes). Connie recently moved out of the Jenny's Cakes building and back into the original "10 Square Feet of Texas" building next door.
