I'm glad my ancestors settled in the south. No way I could deal with that. Brrrrrrr!

I feel the same in the summer when I hear about the high heat and humidity in the US south and wonder why people live there. Thank God for fireplaces and AC. And Negril!!!

Agree, I know I couldn't live indoors in the summer or the long winter. We want to be out in warm weather and we want/ have-no-choice to be out in cold weather. LOL. For a Maritimer, sea breezes, sun, crisp winter and a winter Negril trip makes the year go along perfectly
